Michael Licisyn

Michael is a multi-award winning independent filmmaker and co-founder of Mixed Nuts Productions from South Jersey. He holds a B.A. in Radio/TV/Film from Rowan University.

Over the years, Michael has directed films such as the multi-award winning independent feature film No Footing. Michael has also produced, directed, and shot music videos for artists such as Rich Cronin (LFO), Payton Taylor, Divers Lust, Lori Reed, Honah Lee, and, MC Lars.

Michael is also the creator and producer for the video game comedy web series Living in 8 Bits and its spinoff series Super Plumber Bros.

Along with producing his own work, he has also worked on many other projects with Cinevore Studios including Nerd vs. Geek (DP, Editor, AD) and WHYY Articulate's Moot (DP, Editor, AD). He has worked on other film and video projects such as Vessel (DP,Co-Editor), CONNIE (DP, Editor, Producer), RetrowareTV's The Video Game Years (Editor), Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie (Editor), The Phillie Phanatic's One-Mand Band (Camera, Editor), and Shout Factory's Mystery Science Theater 3000 Turkey Day Marathon (Director of Photography).

For 6 years, he taught the annual film program at Mainstage Center for the Arts’ Summer Stage. Michael currently works as a cinematographer and editor in the Greater Philadelphia Area including the Philadelphia Phillies.
